As
the foundation to reshaping the management structure, ethos and responsibilities
in this organisation, we designed a set of role profiles including
responsibilities, outcomes and competencies for the various levels of
management.
We
then developed and implemented a Leadership & Management programme for a
total of 250 managers from the senior business mangers, through 3 levels of
management. Much of this was delivered in the working environment.
This
covered the twin aspects of leading people/ teams and managing the business.
Follow
up events 3-6 months afterwards have been highly beneficial in consolidating the
learning, identifying blockers, highlighting key business issues and providing a
valuable source of feedback for action and change for the senior management
The
in–house HR team, have now been cross skilled to deliver this programme at all
but the highest level of management, where we will continue to provide the
expertise and external perspective
This
work has been re-enforced, by working closely with the Operations Director and
his immediate team of 4 senior managers developing their leadership,
team-working and strategic effectiveness.
We
are now involved with the Board in the development of their business strategy. |
