In just five years Vertex has grown to become one of the largest customer
management outsourcing businesses in the UK. Vertex is part of United Utilities
plc, employing over 10,000 people.
Our
consultants have been working with Vertex for the past four years on a range of
projects including consultancy and design of job family structures.
In
2002 TPS designed and delivered an Accelerated Leadership Development programme
for the top 100 leaders.
The
programme, with clear outcomes agreed at board level, was specifically designed
to raise the level of leadership and cross business effectiveness.
This
was necessary to support the rapid growth already achieved and further
substantial growth planned in the strategy.
The
programme is of innovative design and integrates a number of components to build
on existing and emerging good practice.
These
included:

A newly developed set of Leadership competencies

An automated 360 feedback and assessment system,
which we built and delivered

A psychometric profile with 1:1 briefing and
feedback

A set of leadership principles from a third party
supplier to integrate with their parent company and establish a common language.
